COMPRESSOR REPLACEMENT PROCESS

ATTENTION: The replacement of a compressor requires installation of a new receiver drier/ accumulator and the system to be flushed per the manufacturer’s guidelines.

When replacing the compressor, the following must be completed: • The following items MUST be replaced: receiver drier/ accumulator, expansion valve/orifice tube, hose assemblies containing mufflers, condenser when design does not allow for flushing (parallel flow)

• Proper amount and type of lubricant is added to the compressor and drier/accumulator • System is charged with the proper type and amount of refrigerant and leak test is performed

• The following MUST be completed: Non replaced components MUST be flushed until there is no debris or oil (e.g., evaporator, hoses, some condensers, etc.)

A/C COMPRESSOR WARRANTY TERMS & CONDITIONS All OTR Air Conditioning components will be free from defects in material and workmanship for 2-years, unlimited mileage with the following exceptions: 1. Air Conditioning Compressors: Failure to follow the entire compressor replacement process outlined above will void any warranty. 2. Warranty can be processed nationwide by any OTR distributor, regardless of where the product was initially purchased. Only OTR products will be processed for warranty. If a product is warrantable, only the product will be replaced. 3. Products rendered defective by misapplication, contamination, abuse, alteration or any/adjustment are not warrantable. It is the user’s responsibility to determine the suitability of any product to their specific application. Any products disassembled voids all warranty. 4. There are no warranties or conditions beyond this document and no person is granted authorization to express or imply additional warranty or liability. Any warranties of merchantabilty or fitness for particular purpose are expressly disclaimed. The buyer’s sole remedy for warranted product is replacement of product per conditions above. In no event shall OTR, its agents or employees be responsible for incidental or consequential damages nor negligence in any respect.
