TECH TIPS SHOCK REPLACEMENT RECOMMENDATIONS FOR MAXIMUM LIFE AND RELIABILITY

• When replacing worn air springs, remember to replace worn shocks. • Shocks should be a part of all truck inspections. • Shocks are interconnected parts of a truck’s suspension and braking system. Any worn part could be an indication of “difficult to discern wear.“ • Shocks should always be installed in pairs. • All ride control components are exposed to approximately the same level of wear, so replacement of all shocks makes even more sense when one unit is worn.
