BELT TENSIONERS
DRIVEALIGN ® HEAVY-DUTY AUTOMATIC BELT TENSIONERS
• Labyrinth Seal prevents contamination of internal parts for maximum durability and service life • Machined Steel Pulley reduces surface wear while shielding internal bearing from outside contaminants
• Double Row Bearings twin rows of bearings carry more load and last up to three times longer than two individual bearings

Belts and tensioners are designed with similar life cycles. They wear at the same rate and replacing a Tensioner with every Belt (1-to-1) ensures optimal performance of the belt drive system and extends the life of both parts.
Belts and tensioners are designed with similar life cycles. They wear at the same rate and replacing a Tensioner with every Belt (1-to-1) ensures optimal performance of the belt drive system and extends the life of both parts. If the serpentine belt system loses any tension, problems shortly follow:
• Diminished system charging • Squealing
• Excessive belt wear • Power steering loss
• Poor A/C performance • Reduced cost-per-mile performance of the system
BE SYSTEM SMART Many of the symptoms that indicate a problem with the serpentine belt drive system — squeal, vibration, excessive belt wear, and illumination of the “check engine” light — can be traced to a worn or failed Tensioner. That’s why the Tensioner is the best place to start when diagnosing trouble.
